Inspired by The Invisible Man and Hollow Man, about a scientist who turns invisible and while his co-workers try to find a cure, his greedy boss uses him as a corporate spy, giving him time to stalk the woman he's obsessed with and her boyfriend leading up to a scary conclusion. 

SYNOPSIS:

THE DISAPPEARING MAN

Steven Bradley, is a young science enthusiast, and the main thing that keeps him going is love for Eliza Chavez but it is unrequited love and while she tolerates him as a friend she soon falls in love with Trent Morgan, though Milhouse believes she is making him jealous and that they are meant to be together even though he gets into her space and embarrasses himself for her. Years later Milhouse is now employed by a science company run by James Robertson along with his sister Sharon Bradley, while Eliza now works in as a teacher and Trent now works as an assistant coach. One day Steven accidently discovers the secret to invisibility and volunteers to be the subject and it works but turning him visible is a challenge. During his time as an invisible man, he begins to watch Eliza the only woman he had ever loved and believes what he is doing will impress her. Then while trailing Trent he sees Trent with another woman and believes he is cheating on Eliza taking pictures he has Sharon place them on Eliza who reveals they are of her friend Rhonda Wilson who is going through a messy divorce from her over controlling and verbally abusive husband Terence Wilson and thinks Terence is responsible. Sharon explains the situation to Milhouse and warns him that if he continues, he will endanger himself and others and even tells him to let Eliza go, but he refuses believing that he is her true love, and nothing will stop him from claiming her from Trent. Fearful of Milhouse Sharon manages to put him in quarantine and warns Robertson if the project named Project HGW after HG Wells author of The Invisible Man spirals out of control then the non-verbal agreement she signed will be null and void, unknown to her Robertson and Milhouse worked out an agreement Robertson and one of the security guys Vinny will allow him to escape and continue to spy on Eliza, and he will be their corporate saboteur and spy.

After finishing his work for Robertson Steven begins to stalk Eliza and Trent and soon begins to damage new jewelry and gifts Trent gives Eliza and even buys her more expensive jewelry and dresses and more dioramas like what he used to give her when they were young like stuffed ladybugs and calls them symbols of their love and even places hidden cameras and starts to peep on her. Steven then begins to take items from Eliza for his shrine to her (even her sweat and a lock of her hair) and even lies next to her in bed while she sleeps and gets out when Trent arrives, and starts grouping and molesting her while she sleeps (such as grouping her butt while she changes), and begins to sabotage Trent’s life and makes it appear if he’s having an affair. Then one night while spying on them and finding out Eliza is sending him a letter and thinks she and Trent are breaking up as she has realized her love for him, he finds out Eliza and Trent think Terence is stalking them, and called the cops on him, and that Eliza is severing her ties to him even admitting that she now views him as an unwanted presence in her life and that she is returning all the symbols of their love and his gifts and that Eliza and Trent are getting married when they go out to their hot tub Steven first heartbroken goes mad and begins destroying the house and putting the symbols of their love back up and soon attracts Trent and Eliza’s attention and when they go in Trent is ambushed by Terence who had lost his job and his new relationship and nearly kills Eliza but is saved by an invisible Steve who kills Terence and goes further in his delusions that he is protecting Eliza and goes out to celebrate that he will save Eliza from Trent and restore their love.

When Eliza and Trent see Steven's gifts returned and find hidden cameras and trace them to Steven's apartment, they realize Steven is the stalker and going there with police officers John Homan and Mark Muller they find his shrine enlarged with items he took from Eliza and Trent’s house and the cameras. After tricking Sharon, the cops show Robertson and Sharon why they are looking for him and Sharon now fearing her brother’s sanity and wellbeing looks for in in quarantine and friends the video loop and him gone and tells Robertson that it’s time to break silence revealing the project and everything and Eliza realizes how Steven stalked them and that he had been molesting her. The cops advise Sharon to convince her brother to turn himself in due to his charges. Then confronts Robertson and Vinney for selling him out and kills them but Vinney mortally wounded writes a confession.

The next morning Trent and Eliza arrive having gotten a message from Robertson on giving them compensation for their ordeal they learn he was killed last night, and the message came at down, while Muller finds proof that Robertson and Vinney helped in Steven's escape and that Milhouse is inside. Steven murders some of his co-workers intending to leave Trent in a freezer and kill him and the cops with a bomb but they escape. Steven captures Eliza and Sharon intending to take them away with him and restore Eliza’s love for him, Eliza and Sharon escape and reunite with Trent and the others when Steven tries to kill him Trent deflects and wounds Milhouse. In the escape Steven tries to capture Eliza only for her to call him Loseley a nickname that served as an insult and pushed him to his death in the bomb, his final words crying out for Eliza the woman he wasted his life obsessing over.

The danger passed, Trent and Eliza finally marry.
