A selfish hustler sees a get rich quick scheme when he tries to develop a parcel of land his wealthy family abandoned, but a dark truth reveals he must face a horrific cult of boney-fingered orphans and their vengeful leader in the tunnels beneath the surface.

SYNOPSIS:

Skip Bennett is targeted by the marketing company handling the real estate development. He is manipulated into placing the winning bid for a vacant lot on land his family once controlled. The dark secret of Blackville Township is laced with greed and supernatural disasters that destroyed Skip’s family. He inherited what was left but doesn’t care or know much about his family history. A local young reporter informs Skip of the tragic end of his Great Aunt and how orphans were turned into slaves to mine the old coal tunnels for diamonds.

The supernatural events physically threaten Skip and make his property unbuildable. He and Lois team up to find the cause. Hortense Adkins, the old town librarian, lures them into an underground network of tunnels where she runs a cult of children raised to live underground. She captures them but they escape while being chased by the slaves and their giant rats. Skip manages to use his propane tank to blow up the tunnels.

Lois ends up in the hospital where Skip visits her. Lois has been turned into one of the cult people and Skip must try to help her escape. The mad doctor in charge has super strength and they battle to the end when Skip kills with an oxygen bottle strapped to the doctors legs sending through windows into his death. Thinking he has won; he is shocked when the hospital turns out to be the center of the cult and Skip is captured by nurses who are in charge.
