GENRE: Drama, Comedy
LOGLINE:

When Karma, a benevolent immortal in her 20s, loses her ability to bestow good karma, she must reluctantly embrace her dark side and dispense well-deserved bad karma to restore balance, all while navigating the complexities of mortal life.

SYNOPSIS:

In a celestial realm where immortal beings oversee the cosmic balance of karma, Karma, a compassionate and youthful immortal, finds herself in a precarious situation when her power to bestow good karma is unexpectedly suspended. Accustomed to spreading positivity and rewarding deserving mortals, Karma is thrust into an unfamiliar role as she must now fulfill her cosmic duty by delivering justifiable bad karma.

Struggling to come to terms with her newfound responsibility, Karma ventures into the mortal realm. As she navigates the complexities of human behavior, she encounters a variety of characters – from corrupt individuals who exploit others to seemingly good people who possess hidden vices. With each dispensation of bad karma, Karma faces moral dilemmas and learns that the line between good and bad is often blurred.

As Karma grapples with her own internal conflicts, she discovers a dark conspiracy within the celestial hierarchy that led to the suspension of her powers. Fueled by a desire to rectify the cosmic injustice, Karma sets out on a quest to uncover the truth and restore balance to the universe. Along the way, she forms unexpected alliances and confronts powerful adversaries who challenge her principles.

Amidst the turmoil, Karma discovers the resilience of the human spirit and the potential for redemption even in the face of adversity. In the end, as she confronts the orchestrators of the celestial conspiracy, Karma must make a defining choice that will not only determine her fate but also reshape the destiny of mortals and immortals alike.

Unique concept, Bobby G. I suggest changing "she must reluctantly embrace her dark side and dispense" to "she reluctantly embraces her dark side and dispenses." When someone puts ”must" in a logline, it usually means the protagonist is forced to do whatever they need to do in the story instead of doing it willingly, so you don't need "must" and "reluctantly" in your logline.
