I've written a TV pilot script that's a Winner in 27 film festivals and created a pitch deck for its 6-part series. Friends tell me that producers will find me and I don't need to pitch the script. No ones found me yet and I'm wondering - is that true?

You have to go to producers, build your momentum, get people talking about your work.

You need to be your project’s biggest advocate. As nice as it would be to rest on the festival laurels it’s just the beginning of the hard work. Festival accolades are a nice addition to your pitch.

When I'm optioned, I'll tell ya! hehe. I think the only way "build it and they will come" works is if you've one a contest.
