SYNOPSIS:

HOLLYWOOD'S OPIUM SCANDAL! It's 1947. LA is hooked on opium, and the stars are falling from the skies. The studios are lying through their teeth, calling it "natural causes". But one cat knows the score. He's "Ducky Boy" Dale Longhorn, a Navy vet who needs a steady gig. He gets it from Raymond Curtis, a former journalist who moved from New York to start his own rag. Raymond pays Ducky Boy to bird dog Hollywood celebs and local bigwigs, and uses their dirt to squeeze the studios and sell his new paper: Motion Picture Herald. But soon, the Herald becomes Confidential Magazine, the most sensational and scandalous sheet in town. And Ducky Boy finds himself in a heap of trouble with lies, dames, and murder. Don't miss Ducky Boy's wild ride in the first season of this ginchy drama, set between 1947-1951.
