Retired hard nosed cop, Steve Rising was more violent than the criminals he went after. Because of this he was forced into early retirement. After a series of brutal satanic murder sacrifices he is brought back to solve the murders.

SYNOPSIS:

Retired ex-cop Steve "Body Count" Rising is brought out of his forced retirement after the police get nowhere in their investigation of a series of grisly satanic murders. He’s partnered with one of the force’s top cops that also happens to be gay. He's not very popular with his peers because of his many successes and meteoric rise. Also assigned to his team is a beautiful Lieutenant who happens to be a national authority on Satanism, cults and ritualistic murders. Things start out rocky between the three due to their conflicting style. As they follow the satanic trail they work remarkably well on and are surprised at where the investigation eventually leads them.
