BELIEVE ME, I MEAN IT.

BELIEVE ME, I MEAN IT.
By Travis Johns

GENRE: Drama, Comedy
LOGLINE:

When his mortifying road rage gets posted online (and he's canceled, evicted, then fired), Bryce Ballard doubles down on an apology tour nobody asked for, breaking the internet twice. Now, no longer an angry, unpublished nobody in Paramus, NJ, he's angry in Shreveport, trying to start over, famously unemployed.

SYNOPSIS:

After years of trying hard (and on purpose!) to get noticed, what if your biggest fuck-up (accidentally!) broke the internet? Meet Bryce Ballard. Waking up to a fresh new hell, he's the last one to know in this half-hour cable series about the comedy we find in loss through the tragedy of perspective. Certainly no stranger to obvious pathos, he's always angrier than he is right, somehow managing to demonstrate both on live TV when he loses it on air (during a disastrous apology on "Wake Up Paramus!") and winds up exiled and beholden to an estranged half-sister in Shreveport, starting over as that guy...famously unemployed.
