Where innocence ends, vengeance begins. From the depths of the Pit, Death rises to hunt the wicked.
SYNOPSIS:
Genre: Supernatural Horror Thriller
Tone: Dark, Intense, and Vengeful with elements of Mythic Justice and Gothic Atmosphere.
Elevator Pitch:
In Pit, a haunted forest conceals a bottomless chasm that awakens every hundred years with the screams of innocent souls seeking vengeance. When a young Guatemalan girl is brutally sacrificed, the ancient force of Death is unleashed to hunt those who prey on the helpless. But as Death's wrath threatens to spiral out of control, an aging shaman must remind it of its true purpose before all of humanity pays the price. A dark supernatural thriller blending horror and myth, Pit explores the thin line between justice and vengeance in a world that often forgets its most vulnerable.
Author’s Note:
This story is dedicated to the 325,000 children currently missing in America. Each of these children was taken, their futures stolen, their voices silenced. They are more than just statistics—they are sons and daughters, sisters and brothers, each with dreams and hopes that have been cruelly interrupted. As a society, we owe them more than our thoughts and prayers; we owe them our action, our attention, and our unyielding demand for justice.
This is for the families who live with an emptiness that cannot be filled, and for those still searching, refusing to give up hope. May this story be a reminder that the cries of the innocent will always be heard, that their suffering is not forgotten, and that the darkness that preys on them must be confronted, no matter the cost.
To the missing, the lost, and the stolen—may you find your way home. And to those who search tirelessly, may you find strength in the face of despair. This is for you, and for every child whose story deserves an ending that is not written in shadows.
