Two decades after escaping Shawshank, Andy Dufresne and Ellis "Red" Redding are recaptured by the FBI and returned to a heavily fortified Shawshank prison, where they must outwit a sophisticated new warden to reclaim their freedom and reunite with their devastated families.

SYNOPSIS:

Over two decades have passed for the two inmates when their whereabouts are discovered by a retired security guard from Shawshank prison. He gives the tip to the FBI, who swoop in on the two ex-inmates, taking them back to where everything started: prison. The escapee is put back to the books by the new, highly sophisticated warden, and he must try to find a way to escape this time—not through the crap and chisel of the past, but in a new way. Both must get back to their devastated families, friends, and their beloved boat.
