SYNOPSIS:
Terrence Baxter, a former serial killer in the normally safe town of Kirkwood, is brought back to life by two avid fans via a hologram app. They have a podcast show dedicated to serial killers and he is their idol. The opening scene is cold and sets the tone. They both will come to their demise in horrific fashion, where the killer will use his famous HAKU Machete that is displayed on their studio wall like a shrine. We will then be introduced to the Protagonist shortly after. A middle-aged woman who had a lucky escape with the killer almost 35 years ago, must again find the strength to fend him off from not just herself but also her young daughter and friends. He is out for revenge. Young women will again play victim to Terrence Baxter's killing spree and the town's Detective will have a strong part to play, he will also share a link to the town's killer. The killer will always leave a snowflake symbol carved in his victims forearms. The ending will leave it open for a sequel.

Unique concept, Rhys Thompson. What's the story goal/do the podcasters do after bringing him back to life?

Hi Maurice Vaughan.
The two podcasters will be the gateway for the serial killer's return but unfortunately they will fall to their demise with a cold opening scene.
The antagonist has other plans.
Thanks Maurice

You're welcome, Rhys Thompson. It sounds like the two podcasters are dual protagonist from the logline. I suggest adding the protagonist in the logline.
Here's a logline suggestion: "After a notorious 1980s serial killer is brought back to life with a hologram app, a _______ (an adjective that describes the protagonist’s personality and the protagonist's position/role) tries to/attempts to/fights to/struggles to/fights/battles/etc. _______ (goal of story, and try to add the obstacles here) so/in order to ________ (stakes).”
The inciting incident can also be at the end of the logline: “A _______ (an adjective that describes the protagonist’s personality and the protagonist's position/role) tries to/attempts to/fights to/struggles to/fights/battles/etc. _______ (goal of story, and try to add the obstacles here) so/in order to ________ (stakes) after/when ______ (the inciting incident/the event that sets the plot in motion).”
Brilliant, Maurice Vaughan.
Thanks you for your advice.
Much appreciated.
