An ex-con tries to come to terms with why a horrific crime was committed in his past.
SYNOPSIS:
BRUCE was labeled a criminal and now, searches through his horrible childhood to figure out why a horrendous crime was committed involving the murders of his mother, HAZEL, wife, and twin daughters with the help of DR. NOEL, his psychologist. At a young age, Bruce lived in a trailer park community with Hazel and a father figure, who starts off as an abuser towards him, but later on, he understands why he acted badly towards him during his time in and out of prison. He continuously hears the voices of his dead mother in his head as he contemplates on suicide daily. He maintains three jobs with ease as not to fixate on his past and joins the theater without trying to or wanting to. There are a few segues to Hazel’s story to better understand her as she is also treated by a psychologist. Her love for her son creates a cycle of torment which leads to his chaotic future. Bruce has support from his college friends to help him cope with his past. He likes his janitorial job at the theater and his boss, who’s a theater director and a drunk. He cast Bruce in his show and defeats the person, who tormented him the most because he felt like an unsupportive friend. He also helps Bruce by hiding someone that Bruce thought was dead. After being forced to retire as a detective, Bruce’s second friend, BENJAMIN wants to figure out who the real criminal is, so he becomes a private investigator, but his path never alters, he dedicates his life to solving Bruce’s case and he eventually prevails.
