When a government agent investigates a strange town on the loneliest road in America, he encounters the oddest collection of weirdos and a secret beyond belief, proving that in some places in the Universe, you can go home again.
SYNOPSIS:
Elmville: a treeless little town in the middle of Nevada whose only industry is “Enigma House,” an attraction where the laws of physics are... different, in a "burg" whose people are... unique, a place where some of the visitors are really from “out of town.” This isn’t “Our Town,” but, perhaps, it’s “Their Town.”
Northern Exposure meets David Lynch by way of the Coen Brothers.
Treatment available.
Screenplay in development.

Great title, Lee Matthias! You nailed the first part of your logline, but I think the second part is vague.

I think your logline is better, @Lee, but it’s really long (55 words). I suggest keeping your logline to 35 words or less.
I think the second half of your logline needs work. Here’s a logline template that might help: After/when ______ (the inciting incident/the event that sets the plot in motion), a _______ (the main flaw that the main character has to overcome in the script or an adjective that describes the main character’s personality) _______ (the main character’s position/job/career) tries to/attempts to/fights to/struggles to/strives to/sets out to/fights/battles/engages in/competes/etc. _______ (goal of story and try to add the obstacles here) to/so/in order to ________ (stakes).
The inciting incident can also be at the end of the logline: A _______ (the main flaw that the main character has to overcome in the script or an adjective that describes the main character’s personality) _______ (the main character’s position/job/career) tries to/attempts to/fights to/struggles to/strives to/sets out to/fights/battles/engages in/competes/etc. _______ (goal of story and try to add the obstacles here) to/so/in order to ________ (stakes) after/when ______ (the inciting incident/the event that sets the plot in motion).
