Hi! I’m Diane, a Minnesota-based freelance writer/editor seeking a new adventure: becoming a script reader/analyst in the film industry.

I’m enrolled in the Hollywood Gatekeepers’ Screenreader course where I’m learning to analyze screenplays and write coverage. I’ll apply these new skills in helping screenwriters get their scripts ready for submission. Since I’ve already made a career out of writing and editing (mostly technical stuff but a food blog as well), script analysis feels like a natural progression – and a lot more fun.

My hobbies and interests (past and present) include cooking, golf, swing dance/Lindy hop, gardening (herbs, veggies, edible flowers), science/genetics, foreign languages, skydiving, parachute rigging, and travel -- I've been to more than 30 countries.
