SYNOPSIS:

An archetypal tale about a young girl named Valentina who is visited in the dream-state by her Mexican Grandmother beckoning her to come find her south of the border. Narrowly escaping the distopic grips of a repressive political machine aimed at establishing an American New World Order by military force, Valentina hitchhikes into Mexico disguised as a boy. There she finds herself in the midst of a bloody Civil War between warring Drug-Cartels. Her story involves a secret map leading her into the Mayan Underworld - Xibalba where she must recover an ancient talisman hidden in a forbidden tomb and prevent the Evil One from possessing this weapon of world conquest. Chosen by a secret Counsel of Elders, Valentina is charged with a mission to wield the Talisman of world power in a non-violent way. She is aided by the arrival of the long prophesied 13 indigenous Grandmothers who offer their vision, guidance, and healing for our troubled planet.
