At the start of a new school year, the tumultuous lives of Cindy Louis, Hanna Abadi, Jack Whitmore, Jordan Waterston, and Aidan Tomes are turned upside down by the arrival of a mysterious new teacher, Harold Barnes.

SYNOPSIS:

It's a new year at Alton High School which means more problems for five kids: Cindy Louis, a new girl who hates being the odd one out, Hanna Abadi, who has deep insecurities about her looks, Jack Whitmore, who has over-the-top anger issues, Jordan Waterston, who has trouble asserting himself, and Aidan Tomes, who becomes the laughing stock of the school after throwing up the previous year. All their lives completely change when a new teacher comes to their school, Mr. Harold Barnes. Mr. Barnes shows them ways they can control and accept their flaws and helps them deal with the school's meanest and richest kids, Irene and Trevor Shacklin.
