About Melissa

Melissa has been writing ever since she picked up her Crayolas and defaced her Golden Books. She's won awards for her short stories, and her professional UX writing can be found all over the web (sadly, all over, such is the life of a contract writer). She's currently trying her hand at sitcom scripts.

A former high school English teacher, Melissa knows a bit about the classroom, teenagers, and well, dead guys. She has two sitcom pilot scripts and one hour-long mystery drama pilot written and ready for an agent, producer, director, actor...someone to take a look at. She's had positive feedback from judges and a producer via Stage32.
