DRAKORA - THE DRAGON OF HELL
By Emy Dust

GENRE: Romance, Fantasy
LOGLINE:

An orphaned princess of a ravaged empire, who has lived for years as a captive of the king, is forced to work with a hunter to stop Drakora, the dragon who has awoken, while her actions will have a fateful impact on the future of the empire.

SYNOPSIS:

The story begins in the peaceful realm of Dragon Valley, where humans and dragons lived in harmony until King Vorath brought destruction to the land. The valley was destroyed, most of the dragons perished, and only one survivor remained: Seraphine, the former princess held captive by Vorath. Twenty years later, when the dragon from hell, Drakora, returns as a new threat, Vorath is forced to release Seraphine to stop the creature. Only Seraphine is not on a journey to save the king - but to avenge the past.

Seraphine sets out with two dragons, Torval and Zirak, as well as the dark mercenary Ravenor and his dwarf friend Goran, to stop Drakora. From the first moments, the tension between him and Ravenor is palpable. Seraphine's determination and her close relationship with the dragons impresses him, but he doubts he can really stop Drakora. Goran tries to ease the situation with humorous quips, while the team's journey is hampered by numerous obstacles.

Along the way, they discover an ancient shrine that evokes the ancient glory of Dragon Valley. Within the walls of the shrine, they discover an ancient relic that reveals the possible hiding place of Drakora. Here, Seraphine is confronted with her past once again, and becomes more determined than ever. Meanwhile, Ravenor is beginning to recognise Seraphine's true strength and determination, and is growing to respect her.

As they continue their journey, they reach a secret village, a hideout for survivors who have escaped Dragon Valley. Here they meet an old man who tells them that only dragons can defeat Drakora. The man dies, but a woman shows them a cave hidden in the village where untouched dragon eggs rest. Seraphine discovers that these eggs hold hope for the future.

Meanwhile, the situation around Vorath Castle becomes increasingly chaotic. Hukles, the evil sorcerer, kills King Vorath and takes over, planning to use Drakora's power for his own ends. Hukles flees for the dragon eggs, while Drakora sets off towards the castle to destroy everything. Seraphine, Ravenor and Goran attempt to return to the castle, but on their way they are attacked by enemies from Ravenor's past. Although they manage to defeat the attackers, the time pressure makes the situation increasingly tense.

Inside the castle, Drakora arrives and hellfire fills the sky. Seraphine unleashes all her dragons to fight the monster, while she and Ravenor face off against Hukless. The sorcerer's brutal magic leaves Seraphine seriously injured, but the eldest dragon, Armos, and the special Luxis come to her aid. Distracted by Hukles, the two dragons give Seraphine and Ravenor the opportunity to kill the wizard. However, Armos and Luxis are badly injured in the battle.

The final battle is between Drakora and the dragons, as Seraphine and Ravenor find the hope and strength in each other to face the challenges of the future. The price of victory will be paid heavily, but for Dragon Vale, new hope is finally dawning.
