Two con artists are blackmailed by a ruthless Russian crime lord into robbing a bank for a priceless medieval artefact the Omega Cross, but they have to pull the con of their lives to try and get away with their lives.

SYNOPSIS:

In an orphan home twenty years ago, a young boy is being bullied. A slightly older girl manages to humiliate the bullies and becomes friends with the young boy. 20 years later, the two orphans are a confidence trickster team. The Female is meeting with a Fence to buy a diamond necklace recently stolen. Then the young boy, now a Man comes in, holds them up and steals the necklace. We reveal that this is a con, with the Female and Male working together to steal the cross. The Fence is then tortured by the Robbery gang who employed her to sell the necklace and dies during the torture by the Robbery Gang's overzealous son. The Fence’s kids end up with her abusive ex-husband. The Couple are then captured by the Gang of the Crimson Prince, notoriously ruthless Russian Crime Lord. He was tracking the Fence who was working on selling a piece of prized antiquity, the Cross of Ulyanov, a medieval golden cross encrusted with jewels. The cross was forged by Prince Ulyanov as a pact with God to save his dying son, but failed, making Ulyanov go on a spree of violence that led to his eventual overthrow. The Crimson Prince, struggling in a turf war in Moscow with other crime gangs has discovered he is related through the exiled daughter and wife of Ulyanov. He wants the cross to sell and use the money to help him win the turf war. As the Couple are partly responsible for the death of the fence, the Prince wants them to the get the cross for him. Their motivation, he injects them with a poison that he has the antidote for and they have a fixed time to get the cross. The Couple investigate the Fence’s contacts and discover the cross was stolen by an Einsatzgruppen Officer during a massacre of the village in WWII. He took the cross, hid it in a bank in Switzerland. When he was discovered as a Nazi in the 60s, he left Switzerland and headed to London, putting the cross in a safety deposit box bank. They discover that the Nazi had nothing but bad luck after he stole the cross. The cross is cursed. The Couple are then captured / or go to* the Robbery Gang who they stole the necklace from. They engage them to help them steal the cross, offering them a cut of the sale, but they don’t tell them about the Crimson Prince. The Couple go to the Robbery Cop and get his permission to rob the bank, offering them the Robbery Gang and the cross in exchange for immunity or lesser sentence. The Robbery takes place, but the gang and Couple con the Robbery Cop by pretending to be Firemen who go into the bank after it floods by turning off the aquifers and take the cross and empty all the other boxes of the bank. The Robbery Gang stiff the Couple by taking the cross and all the takings from the robbery, leaving the couple with nothing. The Robbery gang meet up with the Robbery cop to find the cross they have is fake. They decide to go after the Couple to get it back. The Couple head to an Airstrip to catch a private jet to escape when they are stopped by the Robbery Cop, the Robbery gang and the murder Cop investigating the murder of the Fence. The Murder Cop Squad end up shooting the Couple ‘dead’. The Robbery Cop takes the cross and the Robbery Gang are arrested. The Robbery Cop discovers the cross is fake. They get a call from the ‘dead’ couple as they reveal how they know he was a bent cop and have gathered evidence to prove it with the Robbery Gang leader. He is arrested by the Murder Cop. The Couple head to the Belarussian village with the cross only to be caught up with by the Crimson Prince. They are taken to the Field of Blood when the Einsatzgruppen killed the entire village because they wouldn’t reveal who was Jewish and who wasn’t. They hand over the case with the cross in it. The case is opened, the Prince handles the cross and so do all his associates. The Prince denies them the antidote for the poison. The Couple then reveal that the cross is covered in a nerve agent poison. It will act too quickly for an antidote. They all become sick and start dying. The Couple watch them all die. They clean the cross. They walk from the Field of Blood to the church in the middle of the town. They hand over the cross and a cheque for the foundation. All their money for the Foundation set up in memory of those who sacrificed their lives to save others. They die on the steps of the church.
