As Tariff grapples with his grief, he is supported by his close-knit group of friends—Mike, Reese, Jay, and Kevin—each dealing with their own personal and professional challenges. The episode intercuts between the present day and flashbacks, revealing the depth of Tariff and James's relationship and the night of the tragic incident. Amidst this backdrop, the pilot introduces various subplots including Reese's career as an emerging football star, Mike's corporate climb and personal doubts, Jay's secretive love life, and Kevin's struggle with his partner Demetrious's conservative family. I really like the logline, Dwayne Vernon. I only have one suggestion. Change "Tariff Richardson" to an adjective that describes his personality and position/job/career. Example: Generous painter. Names in loglines are usually for biopics.
