THE LAST HUMAN CHEF
By Phillip McSween

GENRE: Sci-fi, Animation
LOGLINE:

In a future world where robots handle menial tasks, a teen falls in love with cooking and enters a culinary robotics competition that doubles as a fight to the death.

SYNOPSIS:

When the Baldwin family android goes haywire and tries to kill the household just hours before a dinner party, emergency reinforcements get called: Grandma.

One of the last humans that not only cooks but loves it, she passes her skill on to her grandson Jupiter, a teen who’s never had a true passion until cooking came along. As Grandma’s health continues to decline due to gandriosis, a disease caused by a failed alien invasion, Jupiter sees his new passion as a way to make money and save the local Gandriosis Treatment Center from shutting down.

His plan: Enter the National Robotics Culinary competition as a human. The only thing standing in his way is multi-billionaire Iggy and her near-perfect androids that harbor two missions: 1. Make the perfect meal. 2. Kill Jupiter Baldwin.

With the help of a clunker robot Che whose fried circuits have him repeatedly quoting Michael Jackson and his Gandrian best friend Desha, Jupiter hopes to make the winning meal or die trying.
