The town of Angelis, Kansas is being tormented by a serial killer simply known as Rell.  At Angelis High School, a group of four friends - Gunther Prodinsky, Natalia Hewey, Vanessa Higgins, and Jack Garrett - learn that Rell is not only targeting their school, the killer is one of their classmates.

SYNOPSIS:

"Angelis" follows the lives of a group of high school students in the town of Angelis, Kansas, as they navigate the challenges of high school, extracurricular activities, and adolescence while facing the looming presence of a notorious serial killer known as Rell.

Gunther Prodinsky dreams of joining the Angelis Sheriff's Department and aspires to catch Rell - and he might be able to do just that before receiving his high school diploma. Gunther is resourceful, brave, fiercely loyal to his friends, and likes Natalia just a little bit;

Natalia Hewey is a cheerleader, has a bit of a crush on Gunther, and gets scared pretty easily but that doesn't stop her from being supportive. Natalia is willing to join Gunther in his quest to uncover the truth about Rell, even if it means putting herself at risk;

Vanessa Higgins is Natalia's bestie, she's on the cheerleading team with her, is intelligent (except for in geography), confident, and outspoken. She's not a fan of Gunther's desire to find and identify Rell but she ultimately stands by his side through it all;

Jack Garrett is Gunther's best friend and provides comic relief amidst the tension at Angelis High. He supports Gunther's aspirations but is wary of the dangers involved in pursuing Rell.

The group of friends find themselves being directly targeted by Rell, as they have been delivered written letters to their lockers by the killer, Rell has made a phone call to one of the friends, and both a fellow classmate and a school custodian have been murdered by this mysterious monster. As school comes closer to an end and prom is near, the four friends get closer to unraveling the truth behind Rell's identity and why this murderer terrorizes Angelis, Kansas.
