A family’s dream vacation becomes a fight for survival when they are plunged into a nightmarish world of prehistoric creatures and hostile townspeople. Is their reality a facade?
SYNOPSIS:
Chris and Mia Dobson were a hard-working couple with two great kids. Although they loved their life in Byron Bay, they were desperate for some family time far away from work.
Miners Run seemed to be the perfect holiday destination for them. The area was surrounded by a magnificent forest with family-friendly hiking trails and the cozy cabins looked idyllic.
The old mining town which was supposed to be a popular tourist spot was anything but entertaining as the family is confronted by a cruel sheriff and crazy townspeople who see fit to hang Chris and are only stopped by what seems to be creatures made from the earth itself formed by tree branches, roots, vines and leaves stampeding through the town causing havoc and laying waste to those in their way.
Could this be real or have the family accidentally ingested some red berries which they were advised not to eat by some mysterious man at the campsite?
Dinosaurs, Woolly Mammoths, and saber-toothed tigers all come to life making their way through the forest almost snapping at the family's heels as the four of them run for their lives.
Are they going to get out of this place alive? Will they be consumed by this supernatural presence? Or is it all madness and hallucinations?
