SYNOPSIS:

Kristy Cyrus, a young executive, is a hopeless romantic who spends her days fantasizing about love but is too afraid to embrace it. While steadily climbing the corporate ladder at an IT firm, she has pushed aside her real passion of becoming a holistic herbal practitioner. When her boss announces plans to expand the company and create a new senior position, Kristy is sure her loyalty and hard work will be rewarded. With her love life in shambles, she believes this promotion will finally give her the confidence and career boost she needs, especially if it means outshining her rival, Lucy Chan. But her world is turned upside down when her misogynistic boss hires an outside candidate for the position—a man who happens to be her handsome and talented first love from college. Believing it’s fate, Kristy is ready to rekindle their old romance, but soon realizes she must confront deeper truths about her life and her fears. With the support of her loving family—her dad, brother, sister-in-law, and nieces and nephews—along with her quirky best friend Mary, the office receptionist, and her eccentric neighbor Mario, a Prince impersonator, Kristy embarks on a hilarious and heartfelt journey of self-discovery. As she learns to love herself unconditionally, she uncovers the strength to pursue her true dreams and the self-worth to find real love on her own terms. In the end, Kristy discovers that the most important love story of all is the one with herself.
