The death of his mother compels a young boy to mount a monumental undertaking that divides the family, defies the town and defines the ultimate power of love.
SYNOPSIS:
A precocious young boy growing up on a mid-west farm discovers that he can hear voices in the clouds. And after the sudden death of his mother sends his family into turmoil, the boy decides to use his acre of land to build a hill to be closer to and hopefully speak with her. This undertaking sets off a whole lot of controversy, scorn and ridicule in the community, finalizing in the townspeople holding a meeting to vote on removal of this eyesore in their flat plains community. But before they can even vote, a tornado siren goes off and a tornado tears up farmland and houses as it heads right for the town! Only one thing stands in its path, Harry's Hill.
