SYNOPSIS:

This serialized one - hour drama is a hybrid of episodic tales that are based on real life events and stories that follow Kerri Roberts as she navigates through the world of corrections. Her line of work has her facing rape, drug smuggling and a hostile work enviornment, and thats just from her coworkers.

Kerri was a "yes woman" before joining the department and now she is the epitomy of "the resting bitch face". The pilot opens on Christmas Eve at her first unit that erupts into choas. The siren blares from the tower in the middle of the yard as officers order the inmates to the ground. Following her training officer's, Kerri is unsure of what to do as medical is evaluating the officer on the ground that was just assaulted by the inmate being restrained a few feet away. The seasoned officers order her to secure the gate that 70 inmates are rushing to. She shakily tries to close it but the inmates push past her and line up against the 14 officers responding to the incident. She waits for the worst but, luckily, everyone goes home safe that day. She completes her first day and as she continues down this path in Corrections, she realizes that the inmates are not the only ones trying to compromise her. When she tries to report uunethical behavior to her direct supervisor, she is assigned to the most undesirable posts possible.

The growing stress follows her home, effecting her marriage to her wife, the only person she has to talks to.
