Due to economic difficulties, Iris, a one-hit wonder writer, is forced to adapt her famous chick lit book, "Amanda Irvin," into a play.
SYNOPSIS:
Iris, a successful writer in her early thirties, is the mind behind the best-selling book, "Amanda Irvin." After five years from its publishing date, the book has become one of the biggest hits with the female audience. Amanda's struggles, especially her “disastrous” love life, had stolen the hearts of thousands.
When sales start to drop and money starts to get low, Iris has no choice but to adapt her book into a play. Her new challenges, such as her inability to write another book and the fear of not being good enough, mix with the guilt from the past and threaten to sabotage the play. Ghosts she once thought were gone now come into play again.
Iris will realize that, in order to move on, she will have to heal the wounds she has been trying to ignore for years. She will remember her college years, the struggles she faced, the people she lost along the way, and her best friend Amelia, the inspiration behind Iris's biggest success, “Amanda Irvin.”
