Boa Viagem is an affluent waterfront neighborhood in Recife, Brazil, which has declined due to the arrival of sharks. When his son survives a shark attack, Reginaldo Ferreira, a local resident, creates a game where inmates are thrown in the shark dense water, to get pardon if they manage to reach the shore.
