Dean The Writer
Dean has been writing since his late teens, just over 20 years ago. Born and bred in rural South Wales, Dean would spend most of his evenings in his bedroom, creating all sorts of weird and crazy ideas for his writing and hobbies. Dean drew on the rolling Welsh hills of his hometown for some of his inspiration. Dean left his homeland in the early '00s to seek better employment. He met a young girl on his travels and decided to move to Oxfordshire to be with her. He has been married since 2005 to that same girl, and she is fully behind him with his writing. Dean has a young daughter.
Dean always had a flair for enchanting and sometimes brutal writing. He was on the committee for Chip Lit (Chipping Norton Literary Festival) in 2012. While Dean's writing sometimes offends, it is always well-written and thought-provoking. Dean usually writes short ghost stories but has ventured into Epic Fantasy novels and is interested in writing Horror, Fantasy, and Thriller genres. They are imaginative and have an unexpected twist. Dean likes to keep his readers guessing and on their toes so the twist has even more power than usual.

Dean The Screenwriter
Dean has recently ventured into screenwriting. He is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Writing for Script and Screen and is working on multiple projects. He is in the process of adapting some of his short stories into feature films and short films. Notably, he has written an action-adventure feature inspired by his short story, The Harbinger of Thebes. Dean has ambitious plans for the future, aiming to write in the genres of horror, thriller, and drama.
Additionally, he has received two writing commissions, both for thriller scripts. One of the commissions involves an heiress fighting to protect her father's business and legacy from her greedy uncles. The other commission is for a thriller about a cyber detective working to prevent a cyber organization from sabotaging the UK banking system. Furthermore, Dean is working on a creative project involving a five-part police drama, with each crime being strangely interconnected. The protagonist, DI Zoe Ellis, must piece together the puzzle, which hits closer to home than she would prefer.
