SYNOPSIS:

Title: Charlie’s Devil Genre: Dark Comedy Synopsis: Charlie’s Devil is a dark comedy that follows the misadventures of Charlie, a carefree weed enthusiast, and his longtime friend Kurt, a devoted weed lover who pretends to be physically disabled to escape the suffocating control of his overbearing mother. Faking his need for crutches allows Kurt to lead a wilder, secret life away from her watchful eye—all with Charlie’s reckless help. Determined to help Kurt break free, Charlie introduces him to a series of eccentric and low-life women—alcoholics, hysterics, and other misfits—resulting in a string of hilarious and surreal encounters. Charlie’s outrageous instructions for Kurt to conquer these women add to the chaos, leading to wildly absurd situations and misunderstandings. Their chaotic world is filled with a cast of bizarre characters, including the Twin Lazy Brothers, whose sole ambition is chasing women, and a host of equally eccentric individuals who create unpredictable mayhem. Kurt’s life takes a turbulent turn when he gets involved with Tonia, a fiery, over-jealous alcoholic whose wild temper repeatedly lands him in trouble with the law. As Kurt tries to juggle his explosive relationship with Tonia, his fake disability, and his mother’s watchful eye, Charlie’s well-meaning but disastrous attempts to help only drag them further into chaos. Filled with surreal humor, larger-than-life characters, and nonstop absurdity, Charlie’s Devil is a dark comedy that explores the fine line between freedom and disaster.
