In order to save his funding, a tenacious quantum physics professor throws a party for future time travelers. Unfortunately for him, they show up.
SYNOPSIS:
Hoping to achieve validation for his contribution to the field of time travel, quantum physics professor Scott Alestair Lacroix throws a party for future time travelers, inviting only his trusted assistant Iris to document the event. But as each of the three guests arrives, their versions of Lacroix's legacy only discourage him to continue his research, threatening the entire timeline. Eventually, the time travelers are revealed to be fraudulent - improv actors from a local theater troupe, mysteriously hired with a version of the invitation and a note. As Lacroix contemplates quitting, Iris convinces him that a time traveler who didn't want to be identified, must have sent the actors as a sign to continue his work. In the end, it's revealed that Iris is the time traveler.
