A young, energetic girl, Sofia, heads to the entrance of a pet store and notices a cameraman who is filming. After meeting him, she finds out that he is making a documentary for television about a pet store, and asks her not to pay attention to him, because he needs to film everything that happens during the whole working day.

Entering the pet store, Sofia meets a red—haired girl, Regina, who recognizes her as a new employee transferred from the St. Petersburg branch. Regina tells her about the documentary and the rules of conduct during filming.

Screams and crying can be heard from the main hall. Sofia and Regina enter the trading floor. Katya is standing at the cash register, looking at Sofia askance.

The sound of sobbing comes from the back room. Nastya is sitting in the corner there, crying over breaking up with another guy. Sofia and Regina enter the back room. Suddenly, Anton (the owner and director) appears in the room, who has speech problems, so his assistant, Polina, speaks for him. There is a telepathic connection between them, they understand each other without words.

Everyone goes to their places. Regina introduces Sofia to Katya so that she can explain to her what her job is. Katya talks about the rules of work and, since there is still time until eleven o'clock, suggests that she get to know the team.

On the way back to the trading floor, she meets Anton, who, without saying a word, pulls her hands, and we understand from her face that she squeezed his hand hard and it hurts like hell.

Sofia goes down the elevator and, approaching the cash register, realizes that the first visitors have already arrived, and quickly takes her workplace.

Evening comes, and it's clear from Sofia's face that the working day turned out to be difficult.
