SYNOPSIS:
Aaron, a 26-year-old freelancer, arrives at his recently deceased uncle’s secluded house in Oregon to prepare it for sale. A sudden downpour and a growing storm trap him there overnight. With no cell service, he turns on the old landline phone and checks the answering machine. Among the messages are unsettling voicemails—some from strangers in distress, and one that sounds exactly like his own voice, pleading for him to leave. As night falls, strange things start happening: distorted calls from unknown numbers, humming inside the walls, and a shadowy figure that moves only in reflections. Aaron soon learns the house is haunted by “The Voice”—an ancient entity that feeds on memory and sound, copying its victims’ voices and sending them into the past as bait. Now that he’s heard himself, he’s next. Escaping the house isn’t enough—Aaron must find a way to break the cycle before he becomes nothing more than another voice on the machine.
