How far is a father willing to go for his children's lives when he knows they are doomed? Is a man ready to reconnect with a past he has always fled?
SYNOPSIS:
Jacob and Ana are an ordinary couple, part of the middle town in Oregon. Happy parents of 12-year-old twins, their lives are turned upside down the day they learn that an extremely rare genetic disease is condemning both their children: their kidneys are failing.
Doctors tell Jacob that he is genetically the only possible donor. But he can only donate one of his kidneys...
United in hardship, the couple is devastated at the thought of having to choose between their children.
The only other potential donor could be Jacob's father—a violent, alcoholic man he hasn’t seen since he was nine, the day social services took him away.
To give both his children a chance, Jacob must track down the father he has always hated. Is he still alive? Will he accept Jacob’s request?
