SYNOPSIS:
In an elementary school in a modest neighborhood, Peter, a shy and often mocked boy, is perceived by both his classmates and his teacher, Mr. Bernard, as incapable and clumsy. Constant humiliation and punishment weigh heavily on him until one day, Mr. Bernard follows Peter after school and uncovers the harsh reality of his life: Peter is an orphan, solely responsible for caring for his younger siblings, including a disabled sister. Everyday after school, he has to sell bottles to get foods and drugs for his brothers and disabled sister, which don't allow him to be concentrated for school. This revelation profoundly impacts Mr. Bernard, prompting a quiet transformation in him. Moved by Peter’s situation, Mr. Bernard works to create a more compassionate environment in the classroom, while also discreetly helping Peter. Meanwhile, the school accountant, a strict yet kind woman, reveals that Peter has already paid his school fees in full, earning him newfound respect from his classmates. In the final turn of events, the accountant, touched by Peter’s dedication to his family, steps in to ensure they are well cared for. She decides to take Peter and his siblings into her care, offering them a stable and supportive home environment. This marks the beginning of a new chapter for Peter, where he no longer has to shoulder the weight of his struggles alone. With the support of both Mr. Bernard and the accountant, Peter finds a place where he can truly thrive.
