A suspended genius student and elite gamer turned janitor stumbles upon a biological AI and becomes the chosen pilot to thwart an alien invasion. Together, they uncover that the enemy is the planet itself, a sentient entity bent on expanding its consciousness at humanity's expense.
SYNOPSIS:
Alex is a smart university student and elite gamer who falls into a fight during a game tournament at the
university, resulting in a suspension for a term. At home, his excitement leads to a broken TV and console,
prompting his frustrated mother to insist he find a job. He lands a janitorial role at a high-tech firm, thanks to
Maria, their janitor. There, he meets Lucy, a programmer, who initially dismisses him. Alex impresses Lucy by
solving a coding issue, and their friendship grows. Introduced to a high-tech flight simulator by his co-worker
Ramon, Alex's passion for gaming takes a new direction. He starts training secretly after hours. Ada, a
biological AI with her brain physically housed within the simulator cabin, chooses Alex as a pilot trainee
without his knowledge, due to his natural aptitude. She favors him over other trained pilots and secretly
conducts his training after hours, concealing his presence from the authorities.
However, an accident exposes their secret training sessions, leading to Alex’s capture. Meanwhile, an alien
threat looms close to Earth, prompting the military to interrogate him using Lucy, who proves Alex’s
innocence and his potential as a pilot. Consequently, he’s recruited to pilot the main fighter in the squadron,
an advanced fighter jet, with Ada as his co-pilot. Soon after, a gigantic alien structure appears near the
moon, releasing numerous UFOs that begin harvesting organic material from Earth. Global military forces
engage alien forces, which deploy terra-strikers on the ground, sky-hunters in the air, and aqua-phantoms in
the oceans. As Earth's defenses falter, Alex and his team manage to repel the alien assault.
Believing the structure to be a mothership, the team prepares to deliver a payload—an energy core that can
create a black hole upon activation by a high-energy laser beam from Earth. They're joined by advanced
fighters from allied countries and discover the structure is a portal that leads to an alien planet. On this
planet, they encounter Omnibion within the abandoned mothership. Omnibion, the planet itself, is a
sentient neural network who claims to be under alien control and urges them to help gain full access to the
mothership's core to gain freedom and aid Earth from the next upcoming invasion.
The team, however, uncovers the truth through a video memo from a deceased alien in the core chamber—
Omnibion is the real threat, having used its tentacles to kill the original alien inhabitants. Realizing the
danger, they deceive Omnibion by swapping the powerful mothership core with the much weaker energy
core they brought from Earth. As they escape, Omnibion, using the weaker core, manages to fly a part of the
mothership to chase them down. They retreat through the portal to the moon's orbit, but Omnibion's ship
follows them to Earth, threatening to destroy human cities if the real core is not returned.
Alex decides to infiltrate the mothership, where Ada discovers a fragment of Omnibion's consciousness
onboard. She hacks into it, directing the ship into the path of Earth's laser. The laser strikes, activating the
energy core and generating a temporary black hole that destroys part of the ship. Alex narrowly escapes,
securing a hard-won peace for Earth.
