A wannabe terrorist becomes a hero and social media sensation when he accidentally saves a child during an attempted suicide bombing. Now he must juggle a moral crisis, a terrorist cell, the police and life as an influencer without getting caught, killed or cancelled.

What happens when a man planning on blowing himself up blows up on Instagram instead?

After leaving his war-torn country of Shershabil for an equally depressing and grey London, ALI spends his days working as a suicide hotline operator. But Ali has a secret: under the influence of a radical terrorist group, The Steadfast Front for the Liberation of Shershabil (SFLS, often confused for syphilis), he plans on blowing up a bus for the cause.

But his plans blow up in his face (metaphorically, not jihadically), when the bus swerves off a bridge and crashes into the Thames.

As Ali attempts to cover his tracks and retrieve his bomb from the water, he inadvertently saves a child from drowning. His “heroic” actions are filmed and go viral, instantly turning him into a celebrity.

His near-death experience and the rush of being a hero make Ali question the path he has chosen, but he’s in too deep. With his loyalty in question, the terrorist cell compels him to get his hands dirty or suffer the consequences, putting him in increasingly dangerous and desperate situations.
