A possessive mother psychologically terrorizes her son and daughter-in-law to keep her grandson for herself, forcing her son to confront years of trauma and dark secrets to save his family.

SYNOPSIS:

LOUIS and EVELYN (30s) are a married couple who live under the suffocating control of his manipulative mother VICTORIA (50s) in her opulent mansion along with Louis’s disabled sister LEIGH (15). Victoria is a retired surgeon who is obsessed with perfection. She kidnaps neighborhood dogs and takes them to her taxidermy lab in her basement, transforming them into personalized trophies.

The couple loses their first child, Paul, to stillbirth. When the couple welcomes their 2nd son LOGAN into the world, their dream of independence seems within reach. Threatened with never seeing her grandson again, Victoria goes to great lengths to keep them from leaving by turning Leigh and Evelyn against Louis through manipulation and financial control. Her bid for control reaches its manic peak when she forces Leigh to exhume Paul’s body from its grave.
