It's 1988 and 18 year old Beth Shields thinks she has the world figured out.  She marries the man of her dreams in a less than dreamy Mormon wedding.  But 40 years later, a tragic event has her reconsidering her life's choices.

This story is about finding your freedom, following rules, and the effects of rigid evangelical (Mormon) teachings on real life families. It is the pilot of several episodes featuring real "Book of Mormon Stories.

Based on true life. Each episode of "Book of Mormon Stories" will explore the real life ramifications on a person or family living a strictly Mormon life. This series will include but is not limited to my personal experiences with mormonism including Spousal abuse, sexual abuse, Shaming, Mental illness, autism, and the rise of MAGA.
