Final Reunion

SYNOPSIS:

On a cold February afternoon in 2001, thirteen adults gather on Björkskär – a remote island in the outer Stockholm archipelago. They are here for a reunion with their old middle school class.

The ice still lingers, but it won’t hold. There is no cell phone coverage. The boat leaves at 6 p.m. and won’t return until 2 a.m. For eight hours, they are completely cut off from the world.

Through flashbacks we see the classroom, the schoolyard, the gymnasium. Roles that were formed, voices that fell silent. A group that grew up together, but was never truly together.

At first, the mood is warm and nostalgic. They laugh at old memories, share wine and small talk. But soon the façade begins to crack. Many have not forgotten – and some have never forgiven.

When one disappears and another is found dead, everything comes to a head. Everyone has a motive. Everyone carries scars. And someone has not come to remember – but to take revenge.

Final Reunion is a psychological thriller about guilt, group dynamics, and the shadows of childhood that never let go.

A story about how silence can kill – and how the past always finds its way back.

Status: Full completed screenplay available upon request.

Companion film to The Reckoning, designed as a dual-perspective Nordic noir duology.

In that much space consider detailing at least 2 conflicting characters, the powder keg and match. Otherwise, love your set ups.
