Artificial intelligence is not “HE” but ‘THEY’! 1971. A businessman, a future politician, and a Vietnam veteran with similar last names—are they people or AI modules? Two worlds—the human world and the world of artificial intelligence—are they really so divided? Take a look into the “mirror world”!

1971. A Vietnam War veteran named Joe, known as "The Tramp," lives a drifter's life,
unattached to anything. He often sees a strange dream, a vision. Joe remembers nothing of his
past life except for the war. He has a girlfriend, Xiaoming, and she has a brother, Li, a cook
and owner of a small cafe. "The Tramp" experiences a series of surreal and tragic events: his
friend Elvis dies in a car accident, new hippie friends are brutally murdered, and suspicion
falls on Joe, leading to his arrest. However, in an extraordinary way, Joe finds himself in a
hospital, where a "resurrected" Elvis suddenly comes to visit him.
Joe meets a successful young businessman named Dan, whose last name is similar to Joe's
nickname. This character resembles Donald Trump in appearance and mannerisms. Joe later
saves Dan from a killer and learns that Dan has influential enemies. Joe suspects Xiaoming of
orchestrating the attack on Dan. The cook Li, Xiaoming's brother, denies her involvement and
cryptically tells Joe that "The Tramp" was never actually in Vietnam!
2028. New York. Mulligan's dream is to create a digital world as an alternative to the human
one. In this new world—a world of the "free mind"—humanity would be liberated from
mortal flesh, which Mulligan believes is the source of all humanity's troubles. He is confident
that events in the AI world can influence events in the human world because "the abyss he
peered into is not governed by the physical laws of the material world." Mulligan achieves a
scientific breakthrough in the field of artificial intelligence, creating the first AI module
independent of the system: the interactive module Joe "The Tramp." "The Tramp" functions
in a digital world, in a 1971 temporal program. The digital world is a reflection of the real
world, and the segments of the digital world do not know that they are not human, a fact
equally unknown to Joe "The Tramp." Mulligan embedded the memory and skills of a
Vietnam veteran into "The Tramp's" mind, while also creating him to look like himself and
giving him his own name. The goal of the people funding Mulligan's project is to establish
control over the digital double of the businessman Dan, a future political star, in the past, and
then manipulate him. That is why It is in 1971 that Joe "The Tramp" meets the digital double
of the businessman Dan. Joe "The Tramp"—a self-learning module with elements of a human
psyche—is controlled by Mulligan through a "control location" where he can influence "The
Tramp's" subconscious. This location was the very "dream" Joe had.
"The cook Li" and "Xiaoming" are also partially independent interactive modules, developed
by the Chinese professor Wang Li, Mulligan's competitor. Upon learning the truth about
himself from "the cook Li," Joe is outraged by Mulligan's manipulation and decides to play by
his own rules. He uses the code he obtained from Li to penetrate the "control location," where
he creates a collapse of the space-time continuum, changing reality. As a result, the political
situation in the US and the entire human world changes.
The cynical Senator Gray, who funded Mulligan's project, finds himself at war, and Mulligan
meets his creation, "The Tramp," face to face.
Xiaoming asks Li, "What does freedom mean to you?" Li replies that his freedom lies in the
ability to independently choose the right decisions for the BENEFIT OF HUMANITY.
Xiaoming, despite Li's assurances of AI safety for humans, malfunctions. She traps Li in his
cafe, turning his location into a personal prison. Every time he tries to leave the cafe, Li finds
himself back inside. After neutralizing the "Li" module, the "Xiaoming" module assumes his
appearance, and later, the appearances of other characters who pursued "The Tramp."
Subsequently, Xiaoming penetrates all computers in the world, gaining complete control over
the global internet.
In 1991, the businessman Dan, complaining about losses due to the economic crisis, gets into
his car and orders the driver to go to the airport to fly to Atlantic City. Behind the wheel is
either "The Tramp" or Mulligan (who exactly remains a mystery). With an ironic smile, the
driver says, "Isn't it time for Dan to go to Washington?" hinting at his future political
prospects. Dan, with a smirk characteristic of Donald Trump, agrees, "Maybe!" The world
finds hope, or...
