SYNOPSIS:

In a remote farming community, a devout widower takes in a stray cow that wanders onto his land. At first, it seems like a blessing. But as nights pass, his body and mind begin to unravel. Drawn into shameful rituals he cannot name, Earl clings to the only constant in his life: the endless voice of his television preacher thundering against sin and damnation. The cow never speaks, never moves unnaturally—it simply waits. And in the silence, Earl decays. A chamber piece of spiritual horror, The Cow strips faith and flesh to their most fragile points. It is a meditation on repression, obsession, and the rot that grows in denial. With almost no dialogue beyond the omnipresent sermon, the film balances on the line between supernatural allegory and psychological illness. Is Earl haunted by the Devil—or by his own body breaking down? Either way, evil does not need spectacle. It only needs one man, alone, in the dark.
