A few weeks ago, I was incensed. I stumbled upon another Indiegogo project that looked good, but clearly wasn't going to make their goal. And I suddenly got super pissed with the world of artists. I flashed back to the many crowdfunding projects that I donated to, and felt anew the emotional smarting that none of those fellow artists reaching out to support me when I had a crowdfunding campaign going. If it's true that every little it helps, how come my fellow artists weren't willing to help me out... just a little bit? So what did I do? Not in the position to donate on their last few days, I emailed them and offered my services as an editor. Since that was one of the things they were trying to raise money for. It was an active, tangible way to help give the project a life. Not so much for the story or the filmmakers, but to help someone in the struggle to make their art. Why aren't we supporting each other vocally, passionately, actively? When are we gonna start?

I truly suck at networking, so I'm glad I finally caught Intro Weekend here at Stage 32!! I'm an editor who writes, directs and produces (because sometimes I just can't stand to see a great story left untold). Currently I am a producer and editor on a Webseries - The Unwritten Rules. My main goal these days is to find an awesome executive producer to help me push my latest feature film effort (Better Half) forward next year.
