Three intertwining tales of a bartender, a fashion student, and a baseball-playing pre-teen, plus the chance encounter which connects them.

SYNOPSIS:

The lives of three separate characters intersect and overlap during a single weekend: Henri, a 32 year old bartender, is dumped by his fiancee. He moves in with his successful younger brother in the city, and leaves an unrewarding job in the sticks in hopes of finding a new direction in life. Katie, 21, a fashion student bored with her chosen field, does her cousin a favor by helping out the cousin’s unemployed artist boyfriend. She gets caught up in a tangle of half-truths and misadventure in the art world, but enjoys the excitement before everything comes to a crashing halt. Matt, 10, a husky orphan who lives with his uncle, loves to play baseball and is a terrific pitcher. He takes a short road trip with the mother of the boy who bullies him, and together they make an emotional connection both had thought lost to them. A singular encounter brings these characters together, but it’s the smaller events before and after which bring true meaning to each of them.
