GENRE: Horror
LOGLINE:

Desperate to find a missing streamer, five friends enter an uncharted jungle bearing ancient tattoos for access, only to discover the forest is a reality-warping machine—and they are the missing gears required to complete a terrifying, inescapable ritual.

SYNOPSIS:

When viral streamer Kai vanishes into an uncharted Thai jungle, his five closest friends—Noah, Mia, Jake, Ethan, and Lena—follow his trail. Their only lead is a set of ancient, geometric tattoos Kai insisted were necessary to enter the forest. Desperate for answers, they receive the marks and cross the tree line.

They immediately discover the jungle is not a natural ecosystem, but a sentient, reality-warping machine. The forest isolates them, playing with space, time, and perception. It tests their individual breaking points, stripping away their autonomy: Jake loses motor function of his marked hand, while the highly analytical Ethan is seduced by the forest's terrifying mathematical perfection, allowing the system to consume him.

Guided to the heart of the forest, the remaining survivors find an ancient temple acting as the machine's core. Ethan, now happily assimilated, reveals the truth: the tattoos are keys, and the five of them are the exact vessels needed to complete an ancient, world-altering configuration. To save the others and stop the ritual, the quiet and observant Lena makes a devastating choice. Instead of sacrificing herself or fighting the pull, she intentionally steps into the wrong position. She becomes the wrong vessel, permanently "jamming the gear" of the machine. The ritual is trapped in an endless loop, saving the world but locking Lena into a lifetime of maintaining the broken system.
