An ancient African cane washes ashore in a sleepy resort town and unexplainable events soon follow.

SYNOPSIS:

While Parker Jones, a young handyman carpenter, struggles to keep his deceased father's business alive in the resort town of Palmetto Beach, Chief of Police Mike Bruce struggles to solve a string of crimes which are plaguing their quiet seaside hamlet. But, their combined string of back luck soon changes when Parker unexpectedly comes into possession of an ancient African cane that has washed unexplainably ashore one afternoon. Now, supernaturally gifted with clairvoyance, Parker is employed by Bruce to help him solve a string of baffling crimes, a talent Bruce then loans out to his detective friends in the city, only to find that Parker will be helping them track down the very man who discarded the mystical cane after using it to murder his wife and her lover months earlier. Discovering that Parker has the cane, the murderer wants it back and is willing to stop at nothing to once again command the secret of the red letters.
