Author of 3 books, 33 textbook chapters 58 articles, president of the American Academy of Pain Management, lectured in Venezuela, Argentina, Israel, Saudi Arabia, Norway, Canada, Philippines, India, Japan, and over 50 medical schools and hospitals around the world. Shot the "Big Five" in Kenya on 45 day safari in 1969 (elephant, rhino, lion, leopard, cape buffalo, etc). Been on safaris in Botswana, South Africa, Zimbabwe, and Swaziland. Testified in 75 trials and 300 depositions. Moved to Cambridge, Maryland to hunt on my 379 acre farm, and fish in the Choptank River and Chesapeake Bay, and, in general, live a pretty sybaritic life.
