SYNOPSIS:
Let the Rain is inspired by astonishingly rich Vancouver crime scene - including snippets of real gangster dialogues, crimes, and the Cullen Commission on money laundering: “…money laundering in B.C. casinos involved loan sharks delivering bundles of $20 bills that had been packaged consistently with the proceeds of drug trafficking to high-profile gamblers who had travelled primarily from China to Canada to play baccarat in secluded areas of the casinos. And these foreign high rollers often paid back the loan sharks tor the funds they gambled via transactions in China and Hong Kong.” (Source: https://globalnews.ca/news/8922745/cullen-commission-findings-report-bc-...)

Not a bad logline. I'd lose the parentheses around Rain; this is confusing. To further improve this logline, I'd work on that final clause (until she resolves etc) as this is comparatively vague. It would help to get a clearer idea as to what's at stake and how things derail. But a solid start, for sure. Do message me if you'd like to talk further about this.

I agree with the first comment. You're also using the word "frame" here which implies the protagonists are trying to pin the drug crimes on the gang unjustly, which I don't think is your intention? When somebody is framed for a crime it usually means they didn't do it.
