A father is visited by the spirits of his two sons and is forced to choose which one to save from a Tijuana drug cartel.

SYNOPSIS:

2018: Thavy, 66, meets with Moi, a drug cartel, and pays him what Arun owes him. Moi demands that Thavy work for him as a mechanic. He also demands that Thavy leave his family.

2003: Thavy, 51, works at his auto shop and takes care of his two sons, Arun and Pich, with the help of his wife, Sorya. The family eats dinner together and Pich gets mad at Arun for telling their parents that Pich has a crush on a local girl – Stacey.

Thavy is visited by two adults claiming to be Arun and Pich from the future. The men tell Thavy that he must choose which one of them lives. Thavy cannot decide and chooses Arun because he visited first. Pich’s spirit disappears and Thavy enters into a time warp with Arun.

2018: Thavy, 51, finds himself fifteen years in the future. He visits Arun however Arun does not know anything about the time warp. Arun has not seen Thavy in ten years. Arun believes that Thavy is suffering from Alzheimer’s since Thavy is unable to remember the murder of Sorya or Pich’s suicide.

Thavy also meets Phoebe, Arun’s housekeeper. Phoebe tells Thavy how Thavy abruptly left the family years prior.

Thavy eavesdrops on a suspicious phone conversation where Arun speaks to someone who he owes money to. Thavy asks Arun who was on the phone and Arun lies.

Thavy asks Phoebe about Arun’s work. Phoebe tells Thavy that Arun’s pregnant wife, Susie, was murdered and that that Arun is involved with a gang.

Arun meets with Kasey, a gangster and pays him the money he owes.

Arun admits to Thavy that he is in trouble with the people who killed Susie, but he can’t go to the police.

Phoebe tells Thavy about Sorya’s poisoning ten years earlier. Phoebe also tells Thavy about how Pich and Stacey had a falling out which led to Pich’s suicide.

Arun gets in trouble with Kasey again. Kasey blames Arun for losing his money in poker however Arun insists the other player was cheating.

Thavy tells Arun that he traveled in time in order to save Arun’s life. Thavy and Arun talk about how to get Arun out of his situation.

Thavy speaks with Detective Reggie. They work with Arun to cause Moi and Kasey to meet up which will result in the two gangs killing each other.

When the day comes, Detective Reggie and the other officers watch Kasey. Thavy’s plan goes into action and Arun does not show up to the meeting.

Thavy gets a call and learns that the plan worked. Kasey went after Arun after Arun did not show up and ran into Moi’s crew, resulting in the two gangs killing each other. With Arun safe, Thavy returns to the woods and the time warp.

2003: Thavy , 51, arrives back at home with Sorya, Pich, and Arun. Thavy learns from his mistakes in order to save his wife and sons.
