This is so fascinating! How dark would you take the story? It seems like it would either take a tone of The Master or Hereditary kind of quickly.
Thanks!! The story does go pretty dark in a few places. My writing partner and I really wanted to put our protagonist through the wringer and push her to see how far a mother would go to protect and save their child.
