About Jay

JAY PALMIERI JR. - is a award winning Horror filmmaker based in NY & NJ. He's had a passion for the Horror genre since he was 10 years old and after graduating high school he immediately enrolled at the New York Film Academy. Since graduating from NYFA in 2011, Jay has been determined to continue writing fun & original scripts in a genre that is plagued with constant remakes, sequels, etc. Jay's writer/director credits include: DELUSION (2011), PROPHECY (2011), THE KUKLA (2014), IMPRISONED SOULS (2014), TASTE (2016), & Léa (2017), which is currently in post production.

His 2014 campy slasher film IMPRISONED SOULS was nominated for "Best Short Film" at the 2014 SCARE-A-CON Film Festival & 2015 Hang Onto Your Shorts Film Festival. &, THE KUKLA was his Project Greenlight submission.

His 2016 LGBT thriller TASTE has won 18 Awards & been accepted into 23 film festivals so far. Eight being personal wins for himself.
